Just letting you all know that I'm still alive. I just got back from my spring break vacation! I'll be posting a lot more once I get some free time! It was a long trip, so I need to post soon while it's still fresh in my mind! I just unpacked, did laundry and some homework so I'm going to catch some zzz's.

My Furry Friend
Hey everyone, sorry for my long week off, I've been super busy with school. It's actually nice to get back on the computer and have some free time. This week, I've had two conferences to go to, three projects, two tests and one presentation. As far as getting out, it hasn't happened much. I've been wanting to go fishing but the weather keeps changing its mind. Hopefully I'll get to go out to the Mackinaw River this weekend and set up some minnow traps with my friend.
In other news, Netflix just added Futurama, That 70's Show, and now they added Scrubs to their Instant TV! I've been watching a hell of a lot of TV, including the occasional Bones with my girlfriend. It's been a great week of watching the occasional 22 minute Futurama episode in between my classes. Other than that, it's been work/study.
The most awesome part about my week was getting a little guinea pig! He's so awesome! My girlfriend and I got him a week ago. His name is Max and we're in the process of getting him another friend. He was shy when we first got him, always scared of us holding him or even the slightest sound. After having him for a week, he's learned to associate bags with food and he even follows my hand when I let him roam! I do homework with him, watch TV, study, and even take naps with him. He's been a blast to take care of. He really likes to poop on girls, so just watch out for that. Him and I have developed a bro code of pooping on girls lol. He's peed on me once, but that's it. My favorite is taking naps with him, he's just an awesome dude. Let me show you how awesome this bro is,
He's one picky eater, he'll usually eat tons of hay and his pellets, but when it comes to treats, he loves his parsley and blueberries. He wont eat the leaves of the parsley nor does he finish his grape or blueberry. I plan on getting him a buddy, hopefully they'll get along. I'll let you all know once it's all set up! It's time to take my younger brother to school, peace everyone!

Reviewing A Few Albums

The past few days have been uneventful. I've been busy with school work, meetings, volunteering, work and attending some conferences. Rainy Days
Hey everyone, I just wanted to post something tonight before I head to bed. My day was pretty boring. I woke up early in the morning to volunteer at the local hospital. I have fun volunteering there. I'm at the help desk, usually giving directions and wheeling people around in wheelchairs. I made a couple of new friends, my favorite one being called "Tiny." That's all I can say because I'm bound to a privacy oath I took! Anyways, it's always fun to help people because they really appreciate you, unlike at Fazoli's - where I work - where people tend to blame you for everything. Here are a couple of pictures:

Gluteus Maximus
Hey everyone, it's lazy Sunday so I decided to just update my blog. I had a pretty eventful weekend. I spent Friday night working and playing games with my friends. We were hoping to play Nazi Zombies all night, but it didn't end up that way. We were stuck playing Halo because someone forgot to bring their copy of Black Ops. We until 3:30 A.M. Saturday morning. This would be cool and all, but in two hours, I had to be in a bus on its way to Andalusia, Illinois.
At 5:30, we were on a way to a place that should have looked like this
Instead, I saw this
Anyways, I couldn't complain because the actual hills were still fine. I went with my good friend, Mick. Before I went, ski resorts always had a way of kicking my ass. I've gone to a ski resort twice, once skiing and the other snowboarding. Both times I've gone, I should have probably broken a few bones! Anyways, this time was going to be different. I wanted to own these hills. Here are a couple of pictures from the trip
The first three hours were a bit rough. I wasn't used to these kinds of snowboards because they're actually good. The hills were steeper and you went faster. I fell a lot and thanked God that he gave us butts to fall on, but it was still painful. By the end of the morning, I probably could have described the specific taste of snow very well. Anyways, after lunch was when I started finally kicking ass. I got the hang of "carving" and was going down pretty well. I still fell because I was too noob at my toe side turns. By the end of the afternoon, I went down three intermediate hills without falling. My goal for next time is to go on a black diamond hill.
The experience, overall, was great. I loved getting out there and enjoying the last of what winter has to offer. Towards the last few hills we went down, the snow was actually turning into slush. It's what you get when you snowboard in 55° F weather. Next time winter will be a black diamond for sure!

What's up my buzzins? It's 1:33 P.M. and I just got done volunteering at the hospital. Unfortunately, I have a class in 27 minutes... Yes, it's a class on a FRIDAY. Anyways, I've been doing a horrible job being AFK. My past 24 hours has looked like this...
I started off with a great Thursday morning. Winter just went away and it feels like Spring. I went to class and went to work, where I was miserable for the next few hours because we had three buses full of people come in. After that, I went home to shower and I spent the rest of the night with my friends playing Left 4 Dead on the computer. Not a good way to accomplish my goals! Now I'm here writing this up, enjoying my Jello and on Facebook at my girlfriend's apartment.
